Silvio "Sam" and Lucy (Piazza) Flaim
Sam came from Illinois with his parents, Costante and Domenica in 1906, and lived west of Friendship School. Sam later served as President of the Knobview Fruit Growers Association.
Peter and Clementina De Luca arrived in 1912, and lived about one mile south of Knobview.
Their property later became home to a quarry, and is presently owned by Jim DiPardo who reopened the quarry in 1994.

Enrico "Henry" and Domenica "Esther" (Castelli) Mingo
Henry was only 17 when he came to the United States from Italy in 1912. He worked in the coal mines near Bevier, Missouri where he met Emilio Donati. Emilio and his wife, Francesca, took him in and brought him to Knobview with them where he met Esther. They were married on May 5, 1920.

Clorinda (Bernardoni) and Cesare Castelli With Their Children, Lena and Joseph
Cesare came to the U.S. in 1893 and settled in Ladd, Illinois. Clorinda arrived at Ellis Island in 1896, and they were married in Ladd, Illinois two days after her arrival. They moved to Knobview around 1906.

Joe and Hattie (Kirby) DiCarlo
Joe arrived in 1914 from Sicily and settled about one mile north of Knobview. The DiCarlos were married in 1930 and had four children, Rosario "Joe", Mary, Henry and Joe
