These are the service window and mailboxes which were located in the Knobview/Rosati Post Office. The mailboxes are on the far right, and each box had a two-digit combination lock.

Members of St. Anthony's church would walk from the convent (formerly Dave Gentilini's hotel) to the church.

This stone grotto is located south of Rosati on the Jim DiPardo property which was formerly the Hrunek farm, and before that, the Shields farm and the De Luca farm. It was built in the very early 1900s by Paul "Paolino" Lorenzini. He became ill and was taken to St. Louis by his son, and did not return. The grotto contained a statue at one time, and De Luca family members occasionally saw Paolino praying at it. This may also be the place where Italians of Rosati met on Sundays before the first church was built. One of the original settlers was quoted as saying, "We would go to the little grotto down in the woods and pray the Rosary".

Knobview's Postmark

These are German P.O.W.'s from the camp which was located across the road from Welch's grape processing plant (the Rosati Winery building) on the east side of Rosati. Welch's used these prisoners to help harvest grapes and supply the army with juice and jelly.

These 18 Italian tourists who were visiting the U.S. stopped at Rosati on May 26, 2005.

They also visited the St. James Winery and the cemetery at Rosati and a special Mass was held at the church.

The Rosati Fire Tower is located on one of the three hills which Knobview was named after. The tower and surrounding land are owned by the Missouri Department of Conservation.
